LINKAGE
Seems in recent years, I spend the vast majority of my “reading time” online, reading articles, OpEds, technology news and plenty of other topics. (Trying to curtail some of my online reading in favor of working on my miles-long book queue!) In the interim, here’s a woefully incomplete list of links to some of the online resources which I visit frequently. (Alphabetized, within each respective category.)
News Headlines / Breaking News:
Associated Press (One of the standards!)
Bloomberg (I dig their simple, clean site design. No frills, just info. Kinda’ like the legendary Bloomberg terminal….)
Drudge Report (Yeah, I know it’s garbage... but they actually have a great collection of links to Journalists and News Outlets on the Right AND the Left.)
National Public Radio (The only news organization to whom I’ve donated a vehicle. I’ve been a supporter my entire adult life.)
Reuters (One of the standards!)
Tech / Gadgets / Etc:
ArsTechnica (An old favorite of mine… going back over 20 years. Loosely based on the Latin - "art of technology".)
Electrek (A more recent addition, that feeds my desire to electrify EVERYTHING!)
Engadget (Seems to have lost some steam over the years, but I still dig it.)
Gizmodo (Tech. Science. Culture.)
IEEE Spectrum (Used to read the magazine back in the day… now I just visit their site from time to time.)
MIT Technology Review (Probably my all-time favorite technology magazine. I’ve been reading it for over 20 years.)
Motherboard (Tech news from VICE.)
Slashgear (A quick-scroller for me… but worth a looksee now and then.)
Slashdot (After all these years!!?? Not what it used to be in the 90’s and early 2000’s.. but still worth a visit now and then.)
TechCrunch (I’m not a regular visitor, but it’s nice to drop in sometimes.)
Teslarati (Like Electrek, feeds my “electrify everything” obsession.)
The Verge (Hands down, my favorite tech-centric site.)
